Hey geeks I'm fairly new to gelish .
I was just wondering Iv just use colour plum and done (on my self luckily) and it took like 5 thin layers to get to look opaque and not patchy .
Is this normal ? Are my layers too thin? I don't want to be placing my clients hand in my led lamp more then is needed
Thanks

The dark ones are trickier to apply - are you using the Gelish led lamp? X

Yeah using the gelish 5-45 lamp X

I normally only need 3 with plum and done, have you given it a stir, it may just need waking up! X

Yeah I tryed that bout an hour ago I got it down to 4layers ...it may be I just need to practise a bit more on the darker colours. I just didn't want to be over exposing my clients to the led lamp (if that's even a thing)

I don't think you need to worry about that, check out Doug Schoon for his articles on that. Also dry wiping the foundation might help. X
