Gelish Structure Gel

Hi all!

Wondering if anyone can help me out. I recently bought Gelish Structure Gel and tried it on myself first. Applied after foundation, and before 2 coats of color and finished off with top coat. Next day the color was peeling away from the structure gel mid nail - as if it just didn't stick?? Any ideas?

I don't use Gellish but anything that peels off and feels like it wasn't adhered sounds like it wasn't fully cured, which lamp are you using and what cure times?

That's odd, it shouldn't do that. It could be the layer of structure gel is too thick. It has a thicker viscosity so a little goes a long way. It could also be as above, definitely check what type of lamp you are using etc. If the lamp is okay, make sure you're applying a thin layer of structure as too thick and it won't fully cure and you'll get peeling etc x

Either a curing issue as said above or
Did you dry brush the structure gel before you applied the colour? x

Try dry wiping as you would do the foundation normally

Hi I have the structure gel and only use it to seal in a design like gold leaf or repair a split nail . What else do ye use it for ? Why would you go for s soak off gel instead of a hard gel ?

You can use it in your gel polish application Before colour to hide ridges/imperfections or after colour for added strength x

Hi can you help please?
Earlier today I applied gold leaf over a gel base coat and sealed with a gel top coat. My client has just messaged to say all the leaf has slid off her nails. I followed instructions found on the net, where have I gone wrong?
