HI there I am not trying to steal your ideas. Just wanted to ask advice on girls' parties.

I just wondered what should I offer if I was going to possibly tap into this market. I haven't got a clue about putting hair up.

I am a beautician so can do make up, nails etc. but am scared of nail art! Tried teaching myself and it wasn't bad but not brilliant. Suppose I can stick diamontes on the nail easy enough though!!

Any advice would be gratefully received. Suppose I could buy some of those tongs to do long curls in girls hair. Have straighteners too! See I am giving myself ideas even when writing this.

Thanks very much

Love

I picked up a leaflet today where they do girls and boys parties, there are two of them though.... they do mini facials, make up, nail art, hair up or spray with glitter, groovy music and cocktails! they supply goody bags and a pressie for the birthday girl.... sounds good but I couldnt cope with that on my own!

I had an opportunity in this direction before and blew it because I was inexperienced. If you have another tech/beautician friend or colleague then ask them to help. That way you get to cover more people and then split the earnings or earn for the work you yourself have done. If it's a massive party, then bring another tech on board. Next time I'll know better!

thanks!! your advice is appreciated!

i offer temp tattoos ( the ones you just stick on ) a toothgem and nail art as a package for £10.00 per child as separate it would cost them £5.00 for nail art £2.00 for tattoo and £6.00 for toothgem so their getting a good deal. All are really easy to do as well and cost pennies per kid!!!

If their older you could do mini manicure/pedicure and facail or eyebrow shape? or straighten their hair use glittlery make-up and paint their nails? parties are doing well this year so get on to them if you can, also offer a ladies night where you could offer nail parties for adults but with a system like ann summers so more will book with you.
Just a few ideas hope they help

Thanks ever so much. Just started spray tanning, off on holiday soon so plan to write a plan before I go or even when I am there so I can start on it when I get back. Thanks again!!

3D Stickers and Brush and Dotter Pens....a must for parties and school fayres

Bought mine from Nailtopia and Young Nails. Really good price too.
East to apply, overlay with top coat or clear acrylic and hey presto.
Added a few flashes of the striper pen and a dot here and there and it looked a treat. Have even given my own toes the once over
