My hair has been dyed red for the past 5 or 6 years and i have been to countless salons to go to an ashy blonde colour but they can never seem to get it right- it always just gets to that orangey stage then they freak out and tell me i cant do anything else with it because they don't want to damage my hair- but my hair is in good condition- it has been dyed alot but is looked after with all the right conditioners etc and is in really good health.
The only time i made it to blonde was when i was living in America and the stylist was amazing- got me from red to blonde in one session and maintained it beautifully. but obviously this option isn't available any more- its just more frustrating knowing it can be done.
So now i want to do it myself. No one over here (france) seems capable and i know it can be done so please can someone just instruct me on the best way to do this- all the forums i have checked online just tell you not to do it and to go to a professional which doesnt really help me- please please please help!!
