Hi guys

I currently use and trained with Schwarzkopf Igora so I'm just starting to feel my way about other brands of colour - how do you geeks find the neautralights? Obv it says it's a high lift for naturally dark warm undertone hair....just would be so much better to use that than bleach. (obv not on top of already dark tint though!)

Not sure on this but high lift always still leave warmth and never lift like a bleach, maybe look at Matrix color graphics or affinage have spectrum which is the same I think bit cheaper. These aren't classed as a bleach but they lift and tone at the same time.

Ahhh thanks blue! I ask because a client asked me for the impossible yesterday - and I kind of over promised a result based on what she told me about her hair and when I bleached it up it came out a strong yellow - tbh I expected orange so I was delighted (easily toned) but she was horrified!

She talked me into bleaching it up again (I used 3% both times!) and it came out even better.

Just wondered on those goldwell ones as it says they are highlift and have technology to banish warmth at the same time (lift and tone?) who knows! Ha I'll find a guinea pig....eeek! x

del Ah yea that's a bit of a horrible one when that happens!! But yes try goldwell and look at matrix on [url said:
www.salonsupplies.co.uk[/url] and search color graphics see if I'm on the right track, you put either green, blue or purple pigment in to neutralise warmth depending on your base shade, and you've got yellow and red to enhance your colour or brown which is neutral :) I use this instead of bleach and toning and works lovely along side high lift. Sorry for me babbling on.

I love neutralights there amazing but if you want a really cool blonde I don't reccomend them as blue said you don't get the same results as pre lightener I like to use the neutralights for a bit more of a beige blonde the ash ash mixed with blinding cream is really nice x

Thanks for your advice guys! Will get on the case! Luckily for me it did come up ok with the low developers but I'm going back to tone out pale yellow today with a igora toner 91/2 1 which is fab!

Just for future ref cos I was there for 6 hours Grrr!!! X
