Greasy roots and picking scalp

Hi hair geeks, I have a problem with my scalp and need some advice if you have any......I wash my hair every two days and the morning after I have washed it I have greasy roots again, I also have a thing about picking at my head while watching tv and was wondering if this is making my scalp more greasy. Thanks
