Hi Everyone,

I just had a rep call in to the salon today about introducing Guinot Skincare and Hydradermie facials. I was just wondering if the geeks on here had any feedback on the product or facials that may be helpful in making my decision.

Thanks

Hiya hun,
I am currently based in a salon in dublin. We use guinot in our salon and our rep eve is fantastic. I have worked with many different skin care brands such as dermalogica and decleor and guinot is my favorite by far, i think they have something for everyone. At the moment we only do skin treatments in the salon not body. These include the hydradermie2, hydralift (non surgical facelift) , beaute neuve, liftosome and their express hydraclean facial. Their products are broken down into skin suitability so you have a complete range for dry, oily, dehydrated, anti aging etc. they also have some good ranges like the new white range for pigmentation they also have a makeup range called mastercolours. What i like about them is they are so versatile and have something to suit everyones individual needs, and always achieve great results. Their customer care team is also fantastic to deal with. Hope this has helped hun if you have any more questions feel free to ask away :) x

Love having guinot facials and love doing them been trained 5years and its 1 of the most well known products and facials out there. Beauty of them is majority of clients can have the facials and get lovely results.

worked with nearly all the skin care ranges and although I do like certain products in different ranges and I continually try many different companies, if I did not have Guinot, I would not bother doing Facials. My Clients travel miles for the treatments.
Versatile range, only downside, retail products are available much cheaper online for customers to buy.

Thanks for the replies everyone :) are the facials a nice and relaxing treatment for clients?

The facials are thoroughly enjoyable to receive and also to give while also getting great results. When you go for your training you get every one of the guinot facial treatments bar the hydraclean. So you get to experience what each facial feels like.

I don't use guinot myself but I've had loads of guinot facials, fab!!! Love the products & it's a real treat :)

When I started out it was Guinot I wanted in my salon, but they wouldn't allow me as I had a home salon. Like others, one thing which really did concern me was the ease with which it could be bought online. It will make a massive dent in your revenue...

Most of my clients fall asleep, but like any facial in any skin care range, it is down to the techniques of the Therapist/ambiance of the room/individual Client/Therapist personality, that can make a treatment.:)

I quite like it but its not my fav :)
Nothing wrong with it though :)

We used to carry a lot of stock but we found it really tied up our cash flow so now we keep very minimum stock levels and anything else we order in for clients if they want it. I think it's difficult to get a well known brand that clients recognise that isn't available online these days.

This is for our second salon which is half an hour from our original salon so I'm keen to use a different Skincare brand there to attract different clients with a different type of facial that we don't already provide :)

Thanks for your help everyone!
