Hair Care Products

Before you read this I should probably point out that I work in the beauty industry but NOT in hair dressing.

Anyway my new years resolution is to take better care of my hair because apart from my monthly cut and colour, it is a little neglected. So I am wondering what haircare products, i.e. shampoo, conditioner, weekly mask etc brand you would all recommend, I am currently only using Elive but considering buying Redken or Keratase.

Bit of a background to my hair if it helps. I have been highligting it for a few years and have recently dyed it medium brown with a few low lights in a long bob. Its very think but not in bad condition, but not very shiney and looks quite dull.

I would like someone to recommend a brand for shampoo conditioner masks etc, and a brand for heat protect and shine products etc.

What do you hair professionals think is best?

I use Pureology which I buy from Dawn above and I can honestly say it is the best product I have used on my hair.

I have my hair cut and coloured every 6-8 weeks and even my hair colourist has commented on how well my colours are lasting recently.

Ive started using pureology on my hair, and i can feel the difference after 2 washes my hair is soft and much stronger, i know exactly where my bad ends are now, and where needs a trim, so i will be getting it trimmed soon and then leaving it to grow.

The whole range is fantastic. We use it all in salon, and I am yet to find a product in the range that I dislike.

Well, thanks for the information of hair care products but can we trust them.. Have you tried them can I see the pics of your hair. after or before applying pure logy.. Since 2 month I am using the tea tree hair products which I bought from the perfect store and they are also giving me good result But new things I always appreciate.
