Hi guys I'm just looking for a bit of info if anyone can help I'd be most graetful.
I had wella colour touch 1.9 developer, 55/65 (i think! as base) and the violet mixed about 6 weeks ago, problem was roots nice colour but rest a bit too dark, and colour faded pretty quick so its more reddy now.
I have been getting 5/1 for the last few times beofre and 5/0 for about a year. I got the colour pulled thru to ends (but not the last say twice) as I found the ends reddy no likely! lol
What I was looking for is a sutble purple, just a bit more muted than the purple on the koleston chart.
I normally would never dream of doing my hair myself or with a box dye but unfortunatley I had a hefty excess to pay for car, then have lots of cancellations and xmas to boot so am skint cant afford to have my hair done.
Basically wanted to know if there is a box dye that will achieve this colour and not leave me two tonal (roots & length)
Thanks Sarah xx

Oh, Sarah, dont do it!!!

You look so pretty on youre pics! you dont want to ruin that lovely long hair with box dyes!

Why not go into youre local college, book in with a trainee, the tutors are always on hand to help, you can get a really good service, really cheap : )

Just had a look at the college that does hair here and it would cost about the same as for my hairdresser to do it seriously skinto, my lovely hairdresser offered to apply colour for free but because I need it lightened do think it would be taking the pi double s lol Had offered to do any beauty treatments but she said she was having them done xmas eve by her friend.
Plus I would need to buy prob a base and purple and the koleston developer too :cry:Was just looking for a temp fix but guess I'll have to put up with the reddy roots for know least I'm getting my fringe trimmed on monday :) xx
