Hi hair geeks. I am used to the skin geek side as im a beauty therapist but i wanted to have hair extensions done for myself. I am only 23 but have quite thin, fine, weak hair (taken after mum unfortunatly) lol. I have heard about cold fusion and rings and both of these sound really good. I have read a lot on the methods etc but cannot find which one would be better for fine, thinning hair. Any help would be appreciated as it is a lot of money if i make the wronv choice!! Thanku geeks xxx

If you came to me and asked I would suggest rings. I find they cause less damaged and the last thing you need is to lose more hair. However if applied correctly and removed professionally hot keratin fusion method would also be fine. xx

hey :) ive had both micro ring extensions and keratin bond extensions. i found the micro rings slid out my hair very easily - i had a full head done on the tues night, all was fine, went out the sat night and woke up on the sun with them all over my pillow...eeekkkk! so now i just stick with the bonded ones. i tried the micro rings to give my hair a break and as theres meant to be no damage but they just werent for me. my hair is quite fine as well. your better to go for a consultation and your extentionist should be able to recommend the best option for your hair. hope this helps :) xx

Very good.point they can slip. But if enough hair is pulled through and the use of silicone lined rings should stop the chance of slipping x
