hi everyone.
I fitted this hair on my client 3 months ago, it was from a supplier I use all the time and have no issues with (won’t name the supplier until the issue is resolved over email with them).
It’s a shade 5, but has gone this colour after 3 months. My client has not been on holiday, dosnt dye her hair, dosnt go on sun beds or anything and uses sulphate free shampoo. Can anyone think of a reason why this has happened and what could fix it? Thanks

This is very common but usually in colour 8, 613/18 and 18 In the processing because the hair was once dark and lifted (usually to a very warm colour) it is then coloured down and toned. This colour can then very easily change when using incorrect aftercare products, suncream, chlorine, sea water, sunbeds etc

Hi, yeah I saw that .... it is 8. 18 and 613/18 in our hair and I cant comment how other companies tone/colour their extensions but seeing as though its quite an ashy colour to begin with I would imagine it is the same for that one

O no! How strange is that! I hope the hair supplier sorts it for you xxx

Okay thanks! The first two inches or so at the top of the extensions haven’t faded as much :/ so I don’t know why the ends have washed out so much x

I’ve had this with colour #5 from Remi cachet. Just presumed it wad normal for it to happen as it literally happens to every batch of #5. Not sure if it’s same supplier?

Ooooh really! That’s strange, no it’s not :/ strange it’s the same shade though x

All artificial hair colour will fade with washing. Red tones always fade fastest.

Hi yeah I am aware of that, but have used this supplier for over 2 years and the hair has never changed colour this drastically before, and if it does it’s after 5 months or so not 3 months, so that’s why I’ve asked on here what could of caused these ones fade quicker

It could be minerals in the water where she lives? U could try the Mailbu C crystals. It works wonders on restoring the colour when clients have been away and end up with pink tone hair!
