Hi there,

I was just looking to see If anyone could recommend going mobile for hair extensions and if it is worth it?

Hi I'm already a mobile hairdresser and now do Balmain extensions mobile. It depends on the area you live in and your prices. It's been a slow start for me but I think its a case of bad timing - only recently started offering them and it's Xmas so most folk need to keep money! Hopefully pick up in the new year! I also think word of mouth and clients wearing your hair is the best form
Of advertisement! :) good luck x

Definately worth it!! Most technicians are mad busy at this time of year which is great. i think if you market yourself right and don't undersell your services it will take off. You need to be patient as del<3 points out, reputation and client base don't come over night, try fitting a few friends etc as they'll be great walking talking adverts of your business!!! A good supplier, great service will certainly = £££'s. My extensions business has taken over my usual hairdressing now, the profits are much higher too. Good Luck xxx

I'm a mobile hairdresser and trained in extensions 19 months ago, I to am trying to concentrate more on the extensions, I love doing them!

Haha I was thinking in my area extensions may start to take over my usual hairdressing too eventually!! There's a lot of mobile stylists but hardly any mobile extensionists!! X
