Hair extensions help!!

Hi geeks I went on a hair extension course today and got given a kit at the end and tought there would be some kind of manual in it that I could look back on as I done 6 methods in one day i remember her saying to put different size micro rings in for different reasons and something bout colouring extensions but can remember the details. Am I right in thinking there should have been something in my kit to look back on like a booklet or something? Xxx

Yeah there should be. But to be honest most UK extensions courses are so lacking its ridiculous. I had to do one to get UK insurance and it was not that good. You really can't learn it in one day. Most of them are just a stepping stone and then you have to go out and seek more knowledge and build on it as these courses really don't teach a lot.

Not impressed as I can't really practise if I'm not sure I'm using the right things. Xxx

I attended two courses and think that you learn on the job. This web site can give you alot of tips but perhaps you should concentrate on perfecting the basics and then building on that. I think that one of the hardest things is finding a good supplier x

Yeah I know what you mean but you know the size of the micro rings how do you determine which size micro ring to use on clients and she was talking about weights of hair which I havnt got a clue about, I would have asked her these things if I knew I wasn't getting a manual in my training pack xxx

What company did u go with and call them Monday ask for a training manual. X

Km hair extension training, I think I was so caught up in doing the extensions i didn't realise we didn't do much theory. Xxx

My salons in lowton and I done the course in Manchester, I'll ring them on Monday and see what they say they did say I can go back free of charge on there next course if there's stuff im not sure about but it would be nice have something to look back in incase I'm not sure instead of trying to remember everything in one day. Xxx
