Hello all!
I have bleached, fairly frazzled hair almost touching my shoulders in length, and about 1 and a half inches of root of my natural colour which is dark brown. I am wanting to get some bonds put in, not overly long but about 14 inches and probably dyeing the rest of my bleach bits to match the colour of my natural root colour so the bonds would be a dark brown colour.
Im just not sure about the strain on my hair as i dont want anymore of the bleached bits to break off, but then the bonds would be attached to the roots which are completely un-dyed and have been growing now for about 12 weeks.
any advice would be appreciated :)

hiya u would be best to let someone have a look at it as they would be able to tell u a straight answer where its hard for anybody on here to advise but if someone came to me with really overly bleached frazzled hair i wouldnt offer extensions you should try and maybe tone ur hair down and get some good products get it cut every 4-6 weeks just a trim and build up the condition then get some extensions maybe stick with some clip ins for now again hard to judge when cant see it xx

I would second what bubs said, apart from i would extend it.

I would colour, cut, condition, and then book you on for extending, depending on how bad your hair condition is, if its too bad, your not going to be able to make extensions look nice, and blend anyway,so no one diecent is going to want to put there name to them, but as long as you keep growing, and not bleaching your hair, theres no reason why extensions cant be attached.

Go to reputable salon, ask them for a consultation,Im fairly sure they will sort the colour out for you return you to your natural colour, cut, condition, and extend your hair, as it is only the roots that come in contact with the bonds, But its really hard to say without seeing it in person.

let us know how you get on : )
