Hair Gloss....??

Hey everyone
I had my hair dyed to a light ash brown with different dark blonde n brown tones in it (I used to be White bleached blonde) and it's now faded quite a bit so rang my hairdressers n said I want it re-doing and she said she will put a gloss on it, what is it and will it make my hair go darker like it was when I first had it done??

I find a glosser drops it a shade and on a some hilights it's turned it brassy even. Try RIchesse frosted milkshake to remove those tones and it's a semi so it's going to be enough to lift without doing collateral damage.
