I am looking for a professional who is confident enough to perm my hair, which is very long (top layer is just a bit longer that shoulder level, bottom reaches my waist).
I permed it in the beginning of June, and by now it is almost as it was before, it is not exactly straight, but it is not wavy either - just lots of volume, but it is not enough, I want curls
The first time the lady who did my hair was lovely, and salon is in city centre, so they have a name to live up to, perm doesn't seem to have damaged my hair much, which is definitely a good thing, but surfs were not as tight as I was hoping. I do not want 80s almost-afro style either.
It all sound like I am going to be a proper picky customer, but I promise, I'm nice, it is just I have no idea were to turn to look for a hairdresser who specialises in perming, since it is not very common nowadays.
