Hair toner

Hi Guys

Not had much experience with hair toners. So just have a couple questions..... I have just bought some wella Koleston 10/16 hair toner today and was recommended to use 10 vol peroxide with it to get rid of my unwanted orangey yellow gold tones. How long do you leave this on for? I don't want it to go toooooo ashy that's all. Is it just a case of keeping an eye on it.

Also does 10 vol lift the colour much? As I don't want it to go really light. I understood that the lower the vol the less lift it has?

No, however I have been colouring my hair for years and usually can get advice from my friend who is a hairdresser, however she is on hol at the moment and my hair desperately needs doing.

I'm sorry but we cannot advise you on what colours to use, the only advice we can give you is to go to a salon. It's the rules X
