Hi :)

There's this girl booked in (Must be 17/18) for Friday to have her hair
put up for May Ball.
I didn't book the appt and she's not in for a practice.

She came in on Saturday to book another appointment
for the day after, too (Saturday), for her Birthday party.

I was in between clients so didn't have much time to talk to her,
but she said she wanted it curled and over one shoulder for the Friday.(Easy enough),
but on the Saturday, all she said was "I want it up.I don't know how or what, but just up".:irked:
This is so unhelpful to me, as I can't stand doing hair up, especially when they don't have a clue?? I'm not particularly confident or great in Hair Up so it just makes it worse!

I was thinking this, Hairdressing Training | Callam Warrington | Session Catwalk - The Cheat Pleat
But not sure- Too old for her maybe? I don't know.

Any help please?

I'm not a hairdresser but what about something like Amanda Holden's hair up on Saturday's Britain got talent? Or something similar to that but the bun thing offset to one side?

Jacqui xx

Side chignon with a bun roll in it to support the main shape?

1. Section the front sections of a hot cross bun sections, put the back into a ponytail and feed the bun roll over the side pony.
2. Then backcomb the front sections and smooth over with a hair up brush 3. Criss cross them over to tuck back in under the bun roll base and then backcomb the pony through the bun roll and barrel curl it over the bun roll.

Very effective - looks quite trendy too!

Thanks both for both of your replies :)
Side bun/chignon is what I was thinking for Friday, but she wants it curled
then all smoothed over one side, so the curls tumble over her shoulder.

I forgot to mention for Saturday, she wants in central, not on the side >_<
*Derp*Thought I did mention it*LOL*

It can look too formal / Wedding if it's not on the side though?
Or am I the only who thinks this?
