Hi All

I know nothing about hair (am a nail gal) but my Mother in Law is an ex hairdresser and has asked for a new hairdryer for xmas (her's died), now the capital near me is having a VAT free day this week and I was thinking prob better to get one from there than argos lol! But am wondering what I should be looking for in a hairdryer??

I did ask her and she said she doesn't want any of the extras that you can put on the end (lol am sure there is a more technical term!) but that she needs one with a really fast setting as her hair is v think and coarse.

I've had a look but all I can see are wattage numbers - but don't know if this shows how "fast" it is though???!!

If anyone has any advice/info then it would be much appreciated!!
THANKS!

Get a Paralux hairdryer and you won't go wrong - they last for years and are really an investment. You are looking for the highest power - they are usually more expensive ones.
:)

i 100% agree with jackofalltrades parlux are by far the best think there around £60 x

I've never tried a paralux but I have an Eti and its very fast!

parlux are good had them my self for many years and i treated myself in August at our local distributor to the New Ego ones and oh my god they are fAB, cost me £75..00 vat free and it is sooper, it is lightweight, compact, ionic and it is a red and black color very posh, 2 of my staff have brought them since and i have also sold 2 to customers too, speeds up blo drying by half, so recommend

I absolutely love my T3 Featherlight. I got it about 4 years ago and it's still amazing.

thanks for all your help - will see what they have in stock - think a parlux might be too good for what she wants if that makes sense as she no longer does hair, she just wanted one better than argos' own brand lol

Might ask her what she's prefer!

Thanks again for all your help :D
