Hi geeks [emoji177] sorry in advance for TMI [emoji23]

I only just finished training about a year ago. I was going to go into a waxing but wasn’t happy with a number of things so only stated for about a month. While training there we had to practice on each other. I’m extremely pale (about a Fitzpatrick 2), and the hair on my arms has always been super fine and almost seethrough, it’s never phased me to the point of wanting it removed as you couldn’t even tell it was there.

While I was at this salon I allowed myself to be practiced on as the other new girl was already qualified just being trained “their way” [emoji24]

I ended up with part of a Brazilian, skin was ripped off from inside which I was told was because I “needed to moisturise more to make the skin more supple”. I was almost climbing up the walls in pain and it took 3 days for the redness to go down.

Some of the hairs on my arms have also come back really thick and black, CAN I fix this at all or is it a case of what’s done is done? I know I’m a professional but now I’m scared to rewax in case the rest come back black [emoji17]

We were told on our waxing course that occasionally changes occur after waxing that you cannot predict, ie hair will grow back less vigorously, or sometimes more. Or curlier etc, but we were told there wasnt anything to be done unfortunately. Hope someone comes on and says different x

There is always the thought that with arm hair, because it's usually showing for a few months, that the sun has naturally lightened the hair.
Hence why, with regrowth after waxing, it looks a darker colour.

Just a thought...
