Can anyone inform me on their experience of Halo Hair Extensions? I am introducing Hair Extensions to the salon, have ordered a full head of nail tip from Halo to try out on a client (tonight!) but am now worried I'm wasting time and money due to a comment or two regarding Halo hair...

Dont know what to do now! Help please! :|

If you do a search on here first before you post you will see what everyone has to say about halo. There is a good thread called something like "best hair extensions suppliers lets clear up the confusion"

I've used halo a couple of times. The hair isn't too bad- probably what's expected for the price. I paid wholsesale price.

The customer service was good, but the man on the phone that I spoke to assured me that they were definitely 1g hair. I really don't think that they were.
On the phone I said to him "as there 1g I'll only need 150 strands this will give a thicker result without adding too much weight." To which he replied "no you'll still need 200 strands (4packs) we advise anyone doing a full head to use 200 strands".

I fitted the micro-loop ones, one lady loved them and has told loads of people about me.
The other lady said that after 2 days a couple had fell out and lots felt loose. I'm not afraid to criticise my own work but found it hard to believe that after 2 days so many were coming out when I fitted them the same way I fit all extensions (sections, pressure on pliers etc).
Anyway when I went back to tighten them up 1 had fell out (thanks to her finally admitting she got a brush tangled in it, not sure how she managed it but oh well) and no others were loose. I think that because she had got used to them and could no longer feel the extensions she thought they were loose.

She has since been in touch saying that the quality of the hair is very bad, that there frizzy and come out easily.

I've offered to go and look at them again (she's had them in about 6 weeks now), but she refused to let me go back.

I don't know whether to class this as a bad review for halo or bad client as last time there were no problems with the hair when she contacted me saying about them all coming out.

I used Halo pre bonded a couple of weeks ago. The client did not follow my aftercare advice fully and the hair matted into a huge ball. After cutting this hairball out, I had a nightmare removing the tips. they would not respond to the cream remover or acetone. I'm not saying the matting was suppliers fault but to be honest the hair was'nt as silky as what I normally use.I think you should maybe do a little research x

thanks, after posting this thread, i read through the posts regarding all hair ext... Will stay away from Halo after what i have read!
