Hi Just wondered how you guys heat your beauty rooms effectively at this time of year. I took the salon over in summer but am finding it hard to build warmth in the rooms. Each room has an electric radiator type heater but whilst it is scalding to touch it seems to spread very little heat. They are wired direct to a swictyh so cannot use a timer to get them on early in morning. The waxer seems to give off more heat that the radiator! The main reception area has a convector which seems more effective but not sure on costs to run. Any ideas greatly appreciated!

We are in a old building and we struggle with this. What has worked well for us is a heated blanket on our couch beds, about £10.00 from argos! clients love it and it keeps them warm and lets off heat. We was looking into them dyson fans/heaters but they were about £200 each!! How this helps at all!

Oil radiators are great for this!
Delongi brand worked well for me.
I had several large ones with timers and thermostats for my different treatment rooms. They plug in and have little wheels so easy to move.
They give off a really good amount of heat and easy to change the setting according to the weather and what treatments you are doing.
I think I paid about £100 per large heater but they come in different sizes. Lasted about ten years!
I have a baby size one for my campervan too!

I have put insulating tape around all my windows and window film (from ebay) that goes around the frames throughout the winter does really help!!!

I have 2 oil radiators but not really doing the job. Got a quote to fix the air con unit that I inherited with the shop and it was nearly 3grand so not an option! Bought this yesterday from Argos, £95 will try it tomorrow and hopefully it will improve things as its been freezing this week!

Update on the delonghi tower heater I bought, had it on today set to 21 on the eco setting and it was great, kept me warm all day, didn't need to switch on the other oil radiators! Good thingg is it can also be set to blow cold air for the summer months!
