Hi Everyone,

Right i could do with some advice! I currently have a 9-5 office job and have never done nails before. I am keen to gain the relevant qualifications to become a nail technician, get insurance etc so i can do this alongside my current job(to begin with, then hopefully branch out!).

I have looked into some options but would like to know what you think is the best way to start! I have looked at a home learning course with Essential Nails. Has anyone done this type of course where you practice on the nail trainer hand? I need to be able fit this around my current job so college is not really an option now!

Help!

Jen

Essential nails is a popular option but you don't get any tutor present to answer your questions. This should be considered when you make your decision.

There are other options, and they may fit around your current job - such as evening class, and manufacturer training.

I would recommend a search on here, because there are lots of posts on training such as which is best, what is this like and so on. If you do decide on Essential nails, there is a group on here that you could join.

Thanks for your help i will have a look around on here and do a bit of research!
