Help, how do I get rid of this spot!

I have this horrible spot on my lip which started showing yesterday. I've been using spot cream but it doesn't seem to be working!! I've very sore and feels swollen!! I know it's not a very nice picture to look at but any advice on how to get rid of thing would be really appreciated.......I just want it to go away!! :-( x

Looks like the start of a cold sore, it will probably start to weep and scab over, you can buy creams from the chemist to help X

Thank you!! I wasn't sure if it was a spot or a cold sore :-/ off to the shops to get me some cold sore cream x

I would check with a doctor or pharmacist to be on the safe side. People on a forum cannot diagnose a skin problem. Hope u find something that works, it does look sore. Good luck x
