Hey long story short been out of hairdressing for years gotten back into it.
Re-trained at current salon and feel more confident however feel like I’ve hit a wall. It’s very conveyer belt there. No extra training no enthusiasm people do clients then go sit back in the staff room on phones.
I’m so eager I want to learn more I want to do more I don’t know what but I just feel like meh!
I do all I can if it’s quiet out comes the block head I swatch do theory revision.
I’ve been offered a job in another salon who are all about training such a enthusiastic team want to expand etc BUT they are an hour drive away. Live in a village so not much options round here. Would you travel an hour to a better salon or learn to live with it where you are?

You’re not going to be training forever so I’d probably swap salons and try and learn as much as I could before the daily commute wore me down.
