My daughter is starting a Level 1 course in Hair and Beauty in September and has to do a project for this. She has to compare and contrast the appearance of a hairdresser and a beautician, and include the following topics:
Dress/uniform
hairstyle
make-up
jewellery
nails
personal hygiene
behaviour and attitude
and to find pictures of both a hairdresser and a beautician to accompany each description.
could anyone give me some pointers on either the hairdressing or beautician looks/attitude etc. so I can help her with this project?
Also does anyone know any good trade magazines or websites that would have photos of what a hair dresser and/or beautician should look like that they can recommend?
