Help on how to do increase haircut

I need to do an increase hair cut for an assessment its my last chance please please can someone help me i don't want to give hairdressing up.

Is it an increased layer? If I remember rightly, you Bring the hair towards the centre of the face, and keep the hair in line with the head. Then you angle your fingers to more of a 75 degree angle. This creates a shattered, feathered look around the face.
