A friend of a friend is selling a baby compressor (piston type) It is model AS16 but I don't know what brand? Any ideas? comes with airbrush and she has some paints, mostly unused. Apparently she just couldn't get the hang of airbrushing.
All I want it for is to do a French as I know people who are trekking miles into nearby cities to get this done as they love the effect, and nobody within a 20 mile radius does airbrushing. I'm reluctant to do a complete training course in airbrushing cos I live in a very conservative area and hardly ever get asked for nail art (my clients' idea of nail art is a rhinestone for Christmas lol) also I don't know of any courses within about 50 miles of me for airbrushing.
Now, she wants £70 for the airbrush and paints. They are in excellent condition but I don't know if this is about the right amount?
PS I just thought I'd add that I do already offer a Forever French service with l&p but feel folk are put off by my prices for the rebalance - but it's time consuming and I do a good job so I feel justified in charging what I do . . . this is really aiming at a different market I think
Also do you think I'm going to be able to teach myself? No fancy business, just French - I guess I need a stencil?? Do you just hold it in place? Would you buy this and have a play or am I wasting my time?
All advice appreciated, thanks guys
