Help, roots came out a lighter colour

Hi i am a beautican but i need some advice? my hair is a dark brown with auburn tones in it. I can't dye it myself as the roots always come out lighter no matter what i try, so i always get it done at my salon. So the usual girl that does my hair was not available so another girl done it. When my hair was done the roots looked purple/ deep red!!!! aaaahhhhhh and the rest a dark brown with my usual red tones, i taught it would calm down after a few washes but no luck. How can i get this fixed, i don't want to go back to the salon as i don't want to upset the girl. Is there any colour i can buy from sallys to fiX this problem? it's just the roots that i need fixed as its really bad and tormenting me a lot.:sad:

Please go back to the salon , and just ask if theres anything to be done to improve it . Im sure that the girl that did it would rather you do that , if you went somewhere else then went back, it would seem as if you didnt trust her . Personally , if I did a bad job , or a dye faded faded badly or patchy I would want to correct it , after all it would be my reputation .
