Hi, I have a lady who has blonde box dyed her hair for years. She now wants some lowlights through and the roots touching up. This is probably easier than I am building it up to be! I'm mobile so can't really bounce ides around. She's naturally around a level 6 but at least 75% grey. So I have a full head of blonde which is brassy in places, a few cm of roots which are mainly grey and I need a lowlight.

In my mind because of the lightness of her current blonde, I would put a level 10 all over the roots and lowlight in foils while toning the mids and ends. But I'm worried about the 10 and the grey. I'm worried a 9 won't be light enough

I've attached her hair now, it's a bit lighter in daylight, and the type of lowlights she likes, in the deeper brown but not as chunky as the picture.

I use 10+6% on grey and white mixed hair and it blends it all nicely to an even colour I also use with 12% on another client as her natural colour is darker but still a lovely result.

Thank you @ronray feeling OK with how to go ahead, just always nice to check with others and possibly learn something new to try!
