Help with fees for college?

Hi I am currently looking I start my NVQ 2 in Nails in September, I am a single parent so I think I will qualify for help with fees and child are for my 2 children.

However this course is classed as full time it is only 2 days a week so I was thinking of maybe doing the beauty NVQ 2 alongside it, obviously depending on if the days are different.

My question is would I be able to get help with fees and child are if I can do both courses? Or can I only do the one?

Hi,
Because both the courses are classed as full time (even though they are only a few days a week) you may only get help for one of them, have a chat with your student support co-ordinator at the college you will be studying at, theyre really helpful!!!

I have decided to just do the nail course for now as my little boy is only 4 months so I think 2 days in a crèche is enough or him right now.

I'm gonna add on as I can afford to pay for separate courses:biggrin:
