Help with hair colour

Hi guys
Just a quick question, I have bleached blonde hair but wanting to go more of a natural colour. I've bought Goldwell topchic in 8G but I'm wondering what peroxide would be best to use to get the desired colour.

What developer strength do you think you should use? You definitely cant just chuck the 8G on over bleached, what other step do you need to take before applying the 8G? Why use permanent over bleached hair anyway? Unnecessary damage.
