Help with pinky toners please..

hey,
I did a clients hair on Saturday with a pink toner on full head bleach, she loved it but heard from her today saying that she feels a bit light and wants it slightly darker, I left the toner on for about 15 20 mins and it was really pink,I let her check it before I rinsed it off!
I'm tryin to figure out how to explain to her that the colour used is meant to be just a toner for bleached hair and shouldn't actually look like shes dyed it pink .. and if she wants it very pink surely that's a completely different thing? she loved the colour of the toner piece in the Colour book which her hair matched exactly!! or am I missing something?!

Tell her that. It's a toner, if she wants it pink then offer to use a semi-permanent and show her the shades for that. Sometimes people just change their mind when they see it on their head, if she wants to go slightly darker pink then make her darker pink...
