Highlift or bleach?

im going to get my roots done next week at a salon, but i wanted to know if theyll have to bleach and dye my hair or lighten it using just a high lift color. my roots are a level 2 and my lengths are like a 7-8

Highlift shouldn't be used on hair darker than a base 6 unless they're the one's specifically designed for darker hair and even then you're looking at hair no darker than a 4.

They should definitely bleach and tone it.

Perhaps slicing in both a bleach and a hilift color
