I have a client that has had henna on her hair and would like highlights. I told her my hesitations and did a test strand. Her hair is a level 5/6 auburn and from what I could tell the test strand looked pretty even. I used 20 vol flashlights by Redken and watched it. I know you have to be careful with henna and I just want to do my research before I do her highlights. Has anyone done highlights over henna and been successful?
