I always thought it was 16 hours a week and you qualify
Nmw at 7.20 for 37 hours is only nearly 14k before tax the amount the government says you need to live on is more than that which is why people get housing benefits & tax credits, to top up the difference, people with children have a higher amount the law states they need,Surely earning minimum wage you don't qualify for working tax anyway? I'm confused x
my friend I was talking to today dosent qualify for tax credits because she works 16 hours not 24 if she worked 24 she could get them, she dosent have children yet thoI always thought it was 16 hours a week and you qualify
I read this today and thought of us! It must be related because their questioning and handling was so obscure. I would urge anyone who lost out at the time to get back in contact with HMRC again now.Is this to do with the issues here? Or something else? @ciderella71 https://www.facebook.com/mrmartinlewis/posts/10153720230991540
