Hiya I've popped over from nails
I've Just taken the plunge and booked in, the girl on the phone said she couldn't tell me much as she doesn't do waxing. So I was wondering if you ladies could advise me if there's anything I need to know or do before I go.
They said to just go as I am.
What about growth length, not to wear tight clothing, not to hot bathe before? Etc
Any advice much appreciated feeling anxious haha!

Hi, just arrive to your appointment clean with some loose fitting clothes and preferably cotton underwear, I find trying to put on lace knickers or skinny jeans after can cause a bit of discomfort.

As for the length your therapist will trim the hair if needed.
She should also provide you with aftercare advice.

They said I can have either warm or got wax but can decide when I get there. Would you be able to advise at all which is best for this area?x

Definitely hot... It is less uncomfortable!!!

Defo hot wax for that area, much less discomfort less ingrown hairs afterwards and much better for you skin down there as hot only grips the hair not the skin x

Just arrive freshly showered with no body lotion on. If the hair is very long you could trim it but not too short.

Make sure your waxer uses hot wax and doesn't double dip her spatula (that's when they apply the wax and then put the same spatula back in the wax).

They'll advise you on aftercare.
