How do I use these please?

I bought what I thought were decals but they aren't, they just look like thin cardboard. Any clues how to use please? I've got a particular design in someone, was delighted to have found it and am now flummoxed lol

Are they water decal/transfers maybe?

Sounds like a water decal, they're easy to apply

Yes they were in the end .... thank you! As I said in my first post, I thought they were decals but it threw me because they didn't feel or look the same as what I've used before! But problem solved, thank you
