I don't get it?

There is a Facebook page blatantly selling blag MAC, Benefit and whatever else she sells and the poor buggers who are buying it are being completely conned!

How do they get away with this? How come nobody seems to question whether the products are genuine?

Amongst some of the MAC stuff that's being sold are the 96 eyeshadow pallettes which MAC have NEVER, EVER sold.

I know there's fake Shellac, but isn't that being marketed as IBN and Blue Sky Shellac? Those who aren't in the know can still be duped but at least it isn't as blatant as those who are advertising MAC and Benefit stuff.

Just got me thinking aloud really. LOL

Probably because they have no idea they might not be genuine products. They could be blind to the idea of being ripped off due to getting a perceived bargain. Or they could be very trusting, naive etc. All sorts of people use Ebay/FB. I guess that's why these people can carry on trading?

Most people know about fake designer goods including clothing and bags etc. I even remember the perfume man that would be at the market once a week when my mum would take me as a kid. I even knew then they weren't real. But, I don't think that the general public are aware just how far fake goods go.

Its beyond me, theres even people selling fake tiffany and cartier jewellery!!

But do the companies do anything about it? I mean it's going on right under their noses here. It's not as if it's Janet or John going round selling stuff in work and it's going unnoticed. This is on Ebay and Facebook and it's blatant.

Have you reported them? There is a report this item button on every item on ebay. Just click on the item to open up the details as if you were going to bid on it and have a look. It will talk you through what to do and there is a category for fake products.

Iv reported the ones iv come across, but im sure there are ways for these people to evade the law online, its sickening.

it is annoying eh.
ebay do stop them selling if made aware. my sister ordered a tiffany necklace, but got an email from ebay to say they had ceased them trading as they were not genuine, so do not pay for the item, and the seller is nolonger there. i guess they just start up again trading as somebodyelse though?

Ridiculous isn't it.

I saw some Perron Rigot Euroblonde being sold on eBay. Not only is it trade only, but they had a faulty batch, so this is probably it and whoever buys it will find it doesn't work anyway.
