So I know with manicures the recommendation is every 2 weeks for removal and reapplication, but is it the same for pedicures?

Should we advise clients to book in for another Shellac in 2 weeks time, or longer?

Shellac on toes lasts forever lol or at least until it either grows out or is removed.
Also of course toe nails grow much slower and aren't faced with the same rigours that our hands are.

If a clients wants to change their colour frequently I would personally recommend normal polish instead as that too lasts so much longer on toes.

Shellac on the pedi I usually try n get my clients to come every other time with their nail app so every 4/5 weeks ..... Bare in mind that if they have been abroad then removal time will take longer due to the hardening of the Shellac from the UV Rays of the sun :) hth ️xx plus if you want nice feet this needs to be maintained every month 👍👍

As long as you like really.

I'm afraid I'm a grade A scratter and leave mine on forever. It's handy because I can show clients how long they can actually last and give them tips like using cuticle oil around the nails to freshen up the look of your pedi!

I don't like regular varnish as my nails are in such bad condition. I wonder why that is lol

I recommend 4-6 weeks for Gelish - lasts so long you'd be lucky to see most people in 4 weeks though! X

I advise clients 4 weeks but 6 weeks max. As clients dont put Solar oil on there toes the nails can suffer if left longer. Plus you cant see any nail problems occuring if left unchecked for too long. I text reminders to clients when nearing 4 weeks if theyve not booked an appointment at the last one :)

I use gellux and i change it every 5 weeks and it lasts soooo long without chipping but that is mainly because your hands go through more "trauma" then your toes x
