If it is the Maximist then there are lots of us on here who have experienced it leaking, there are a couple of different threads regarding this that have been posted in the past few weeks.
Ideally you should be using between 35-45ml per client, no more than 50ml. When I had the T200 I only used 30ml but with the Maximist I am using more like 45ml...
If you are using 90ml per spray then you should do the couch roll test
turn your gun down as far as you can until no solution comes out at all, then turn it up gradually, imagine it as 5 minutes on a clock and just turn it that amount at a time.. eventually you will start to see some solution coming out....
When you get to the point that you have solution coming out onto the tissue that is clearly visible as the colour guide but it is not wetting right through the tissue you have it at the right setting. You only want to stain the tissue not soak it through! I test this at the start of every tan to make sure it is spraying right also.
You are NOT trying to spray the person brown, just spray them evenly and I promise you by the time you have finished doing the whole body they will look tanned, even if you cant really see it going on while you are spraying. I generally only see a slight shadow going on them but by the time i've finished they have a knicker line. Have faith in your solution to do it's job.
Spraying this way uses about 45ml MAX per person, and thats giving two coats. I always do this to make sure they are nice and even, its like painting a wall, first coat will give a covering but you only get the proper covering on the second coat. I know others only do one coat and its up to you, but I have been spraying this way for 5 years and never missed a bit!
I have NEVER sprayed someone so wet that they need to be dabbed with tissue afterwards spraying like this either. Less stickiness, less staining of clothes and sheets, MORE PROFIT per litre of solution for you :green:
Try it
