I have long hyponychiums and my nail recently ripped off exposing it. Now the hyponychium seems to have another nail on it while my actual nail is growing fine. It hurts everytime I touch something so I'm wondering if I should pull off the hypo nail or should I just wait for it to fall off and heal itself?

Don't be pulling anything off. As you no doubt know, this is a delicate painful area and when this seal (the hyponychium) is broken it opens a window to infection. It won't be nail that you are seeing, but the epidermis which will be dry and hard now that it has been exposed.

I would advise antiseptic cream and for you to use SolarOil as many times during the day as you can to keep the area soft and to aid healing and to wear gloves while healing when doing household chores or washing up.

Don't keep looking at it and 'testing' it ... Just let the area heal naturally.
