Just after some opinions as this is the only gel polish I've used. It seems quite easy to apply, I've done it for several friends and my sisters and on myself lots. It seems to last and last and had loads of great feedback on how pleased my sisters and friends were with it and how long it lasted. I've actually had more trouble trying to get the stuff off! It's like welded to my nails so no chance of chipping or peeling. Was thinking of converting to shellac though as this seems to be the one everyone raves about. Is this like the gold standard? What does everyone else use? Also to do the conversion course it says about buying a shellac lamp. I already have s £90 led lamp, will I really need another one?

If you and your clients are happy with ibd then I would stick with it. Yes, Shellac is very well known and popular but there are lots of other excellent brands out there and if you've found one that works for you and your clients that's a good start, particularly if you've already invested in their lamp and base and top coats etc.

After you wrap the nails try adding a heat source like hot towels or heating pad.. it will aid with removal

Thank you il try that as I need to take it off my fingernails later. I wondered if I'm curing it too long? Not sure if it's possible but when I bought my kit they sold me a giccio pro led lamp. It said it may need longer curing time with other gel brands so I cured as of it was a uv lamp. This time I just did the normal times as you would an led so will be interesting to see.
