Don't all shout I did my nails at home so didn't have access to everything that I would at the salon ... I used the IBX didn't have a hairdryer here it's at the salon and so is my infrared lamp so I made do I used my oil filled radiator for the heat part (did all the relevant parts) and then covered in gelish ... well they've been over for over a week and a half now much stronger and no sign of them coming off yet ... my question is can they be left on for the 3 weeks that I'd normally leave my gel polish on for??

Ibx sinks into the nails so there is nothing to take off other than your gel polish :)

It's my understanding that if your nails are not severely damaged then the treatment can be done once every "upto 3 weeks". Meaning they are redone each time you redo your gel polish, however if there is severe damage they can be redone more often but not less than once a week.

I hope I have it right, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sorry if I have missed this, my goodness this 40 page thread has been repetitive, so my scrolling did become a tad faster, how poor Linda & Jim haven't torn their hair out I do not know lol :)
I've ordered my duo pack today & I have promo pics of the bottles for online. Is there a official before & after promo set up picture? I don't want to steal any bodies & feel it would help me reach & sell to those who don't have regular if any gel polish, but would still like to reap the benefits. I know I'll have my own pics soon but it's not the same.
Thanks kt

Same dilema here. Its desperately needed BUT how to charge an appropriate amount to make money from time/product without outpricing yourself from the market!!! I know that once optimum results are achieved clients will only need it once every 3 weeks to keep their names is good condition. I think £10 for 1st application as it two lots then £5 thereafter??

Jim N: that would be consistent with what is happening in the US

Jim N: Absolutely correct, well done!

Jim N: Yes, once IBX is applied, stay with your routine for what is on top.

More fantastic results:

This lady's nails were totally ruined. She thankfully found a CND tech who started nursing them back to health, who then took a little break and recommended me.

The nails were sore, flimsy, dry and nothing lasted more than 10 days... Until now!

Shellac and BLSmG lasted a whole 2 weeks on her but the unsightly white patches were still there. After 1 IBX treatment, this was the outcome :)

She's thrilled and so am I!

Jim N: Congratulations! Mthat is soooo good to hear :)

I am just using my normal desk lamp, it emits quite a lot of heat. I lower it nearer to my clients hand and they feel a gentle heat, and I can see that the IBX gets absorbed. I don't see any need to get an infra red lamp....even if I did have room on my desk ;)

Jim N: Totally agree, perfectly done. IR can be too much hear, you dont want to volatize it off before it penetrates.

Thanks for sharing that with us! Sometime directions do help!!! Someone told me the other day that they found a lamp that clipped onto their table and it was small-that would be perfect!

Jim N: Laughing really hard! You have no idea how hard they are tomwrite...hours and hours. If you go to the ibxnails, com website, we actually have posted some simplified instructions for download.

How much is everyone thinking of charging on top of either gelish/shellac etc, it sounds really good but not sure if my clients will want to pay out any more! X

For first application on natural nail I decided to charge the same as Gelish as timing is similar and then 70% of that for following ones. With Gelish on top I charge half of this price. My Gelish clients think it's a good price - they happily booked it before I even got it! Hth :)

can anyone pm me the price of the duo pack please?. Thinking of getting this in at excel but need to check on my budget! Lol. X

sorry if this has been asked before , but is this product released in Ireland yet? I have a good few clients who would benefit from this treatment hugely and can't wait to get my hands on it :)

Jim N: Happy to say we just signed a deal today with Flair Salon Services. Their order will be going this week! Give them a call :)

A client has asked me of she will only get strength whilst wearing it or will it strengthen her natural nails and she can stop using it after a few months??

I think I know the answer but just want to make sure I know as much as I can before I go ordering!! Xx

Jim N: The portion of the nail that is treated will stay strong since it's a permanent addition into the nail, but as it grows out, the new nail growth will be no different than before IBX.

So if they have badly peeling nails or a permanent split down the middle and Repair bonds The split and repairs it... If they just continue with IBX each time they have their Gelish/shellac replaced... Will they ever need Repair again or will IBX keep the split from returning? I guess I'm just asking if clients will only ever need one application of Repair?

Thank you for your reply x

This thread is now so long I can't plough through all the pages - can anyone tell me who offers training in this? I presume one needs to train? xx

As far as I'm aware you don't need training to offer IBX.

Used on 4 clients today. OMG, is really all I can say, their nails were improved no end with IBX. Quick question though, is it ok to use on diabetics ? Xx

Just had my sister in for her second treatment 9 days after first as I was away, her nails are looking so much better!! She works in a supermarket so her nails take a battering with boxes etc. My younger sister had her first lot done and said oooh they feel tighter and stronger! Even my 2yr old niece was trying to get in the chair lol she settled for a pink polish though :) ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1392932820.647495.jpgImageUploadedBySalonGeek1392932830.901905.jpg
