My lamp arrived today at it badly interferes with the salon radio. So I can't use it. Those who use INK London Hybrid Polish, have you used them with the CND lamp?
My bio sculpture lamp used to do this. Moved the radio and all was good!
If your lamp is working as a radio jammer then it's probably faulty. Have you spoken to INK?
It is the wavelengths the lamp cures at is conflicting with your radio. It's a pain.OMG I'm so glad you've posted this!! Iv had the exact same problem ever since I purchased my lamp in December, it makes the radio dip every time the lamps in use x
There's nothing wrong with the lamp. It just happens. The lamp isn't faulty
It must be the ink London products then as my Gelish clients get 2 weeks but with ink only around 4 days [emoji107] iv read and re-read how to apply it and watched tutorials so pretty confident I'm applying it right i just can't get it to last.
Gutted as I really wanted to get some of there summer colours!
Annie - because Ink are hybrid gels (part and part) you need to give them a decent shake before applying. I had the same problem with getting 4-6 days before clients were chipping, contact Ink who explained why you need to shake them first and touch wood I'm getting 2-3 weeks now.
Other suggestion- if you just doing gels on someone (not extensions) try 007 bond first then base coat colour X 2 and top coat xx
I have used my CND lamp and it seems to be working. Fingers crossed. That's so strange! I have cured with my CND lamp twice and it didn't cure properly both times, it was a while ago when I was still very new so maybe it was application but since I've only used their lamp I have never had an issue
Amazing, thank you! Yep, makes total sense. Will give that a go and thanks for the lamp tip - will keep them well clear. Not silly at all. So I tap the bottom of the bottle against the inside of my wrist if that makes sense for a good 30 seconds before using. Also keep your gels well away from your lamp as I have made the expensive mistake of leaving them to close , and part cured in the bottle and now have a clumpy gel that needs to be binned
So base, colour and top coat all give a good shake before use, ensure 007 bond is dry and this should sort your problem out. Also find if I don't properly cap I have no chance of it lasting longer then 3 days so make sure you cap every coat.
I do have clients that no matter what I do there nails just don't work with INK (only two ladies) so I use TGB with them and that works fine. Let us know how you get on. Xx
