Oh I did not realise there was two techniques - you'll have to fill me in! So I'm guessing I'm just doing the basic one by just literally capping the bottom of the nail? The lamp question is a tricky one. My ink lamp does work with TGB and if I'm being brutally honest although the products are more expensive I am getting a better result from them in terms of pigment colour, extensions lasting much longer then ink hard gels and I find TGB have a better colour range. However I invested into INK and I can't just give up and start again because the money I would waste is silly. That being said I worked out profit margins and because TGB have bigger bottles the outlay cost is actually nearly to the penny the same so it's only the initial outlay which looks expensive.

The problem is I have insurance through the beauty guild and in there T&C's they have written that if you do not follow manufactures instructions your cover is invalid. TGB state you should use there lamp and I know it sounds silly but I'm concerned that if I use TGB with ink lamp and something happened I wouldn't be covered. Really I need to phone beauty guild and find out what the score is.

But my plan is to have INK and TGB and rather then buy new ink stuff I have been saving for TGB lamp . I figured it wouldn't harm to have two lamps anyway incase one ever packed up while mid client.

I'll phone beauty guild today and let you know what they say.

Information overload ay!!!! Xx
