Has anyone done training with INK London for gel polish and can advise on how good it is? Thanks xx

I've done the hard gel training with Lisa Wells and thought she was brilliant! So knowledgable, and helped me with business questions as well as technique and product questions.

I would highly recommend if your going to use there products as they can give you the product specific training which does make a difference.

I'm now looking to book there nail art training and later in the year there acrylics training.

Hope this helps xx

Thank you that's really helpful to hear a good review. I was going to do shellac as I know how popular it is but seen so many reviews of it peeling and recently had my own done which did the same (my nails are very weak in all fairness) but has put me off a little in investing in the training so looking for other brands. Xx

Make sure you do your research. As there are lots of good brands. I've seen good reviews on gel II, the gel bottle and others. Search threads on here as there's tones of information and maybe once you do it get a trial kit or ask if you can use there products on the training to make sure you like it.

From what I have read an experienced you really need the matching lamp to get the best from that product so you want to make sure that brand is right for you before you invest.

Sorry info overload! Xx

Thanks I've read I need the matching lamp which makes it so difficult to make a decision. I've been umming and arhhing for months and still no closer to a decision. [emoji51]

Omg join the club I was exactly the same with my tanning stuff (settled on Sienna x) and with the nails. It got to the point where I was sick of reading reviews and pulling my hair out!

So being honest the pros of INK is :
- They are fairly new so there customer service is amazing as they are trying to take pole position on top nail brand

- There prices are great and for someone starting up your money goes further

- Since I have been using them (October last year) they have brought out loads of new stuff to improve the service you can provide and keep up with the latest trends and technology

- I have ordered about 6 times online and each time it's been on my desk 24-36 hours later

Cons
- It's a hybrid gel which means it's part and part. So far I cannot get moe then 2 weeks out of gels onto natural nails which is concerning me. However this could be because I'm only 6 months into this and need to perfect my technique

- They have great colours and are always bringing out new colours but other brands do have a more diverse on trend colour range

They way I looked at it was. Most techs have two brands. When I started Ink London was more available in terms of building colour bank ect. Once I have some profit I will then invest into another brand (probably the gel bottle) so I have two brands to offer clients.
