You'll need to check with your home contents insurance as well, as some companies impose restrictions.

Check where you can work on your public liability insurance policy. Many are for mobile use only (i.e. not at home or a salon). You may need to speak to your home insurer to extend cover for business use at home to cover that void or even consider a "working from home" insurance.
