In a word. No. There is a certain amount of anatomy and physiology, contraindications and conditions that need to be covered. Also technique, especially painting. You see so many horrendous paint jobs around. Having spent 6 months mani/pedi course, I would definitely say a day is too short.

I agree 1 day is far, far to short

I would say it depends on who it is that wants to take it.

I have done a years gel/l&p/fiberglass C&G college course but that did not give me a mani/pedi cert.

I had to do a mani pedi course to get a cert so a 1 day course would be ok for me as I already know all the a&p and have actually done all the massage moves etc.. on my C&G course but I didn't get the qualification.

Also if you are willing to read up on things like a&p before attending a 1 day course you could learn all you need to and then go off and continue to read up and practice what you have been taught.

If you think your going to spend just 1 day at the course with no extra effort put in and will walk away knowing all you need to then no a 1 day course is not going to be good enough.

So a 1 day course could be good enough if you are willing to work hard before and after the days training but if you want the course alone to teach you everything you will need a lot longer than 1 day.
