Does anyone have any experience with IZ gel? I can't find much info on it! I've seen it can be used as a gel extension over a tip... Anyone tried it? I've seen people use it as a base coat then gel colour then as a top coat again but what about just using it alone as a builder gel? Any help would be appreciated! Also what is the prep for it? Do you need to buff, cleanse and use a primer or bonder of some sort?

I love IZ Gel it's so versatile, one phase gel, I don't buff, just normal prep & apply, great for natural gel overlay alone or with gel polish for extra strength, sculpting & tipping

Thank you that's very helpful! I'm deciding between that and Akzentz... Do you know much about that?

I looked at Akzentz but decided to go with IZ gel as I'm also Calgel trained & found them a really good company to deal with so can't comment on Akzent, the fact that one gel does all was a selling point for me

Could you tell me what prep you do for IZ gel? I've ordered some to try. I use gelux normally so I would use the prep and wipe followed by fast bond. So would I use that and then the IZ gel?

You don't need a primer for Calgel or Izgel.
Just use their prep or calguard which has isopropyl alcohol as the main ingredient plus other goodies to help kill all the nasties.
I suggest using the entire range instead of mixing and matching .
I find Calgel stronger in my personal opinion but I use both and like both.

What lamp do you guys use with IZGEL? I think they don't have one of their own, do they?

No you can use LED for 60seconds or 36 watt UV lamp for 180sec or 3 min.

In Europe it is distributed by the same company but in SA they two desperate companies (same family owns both IZ brands in both countries) and I find clients who don't get on with Calgel for whatever reason, gets on with IZ gel. So I always keep both in stock, I prefer the pots bcoz you able to use every last drop, but that is my personal preference .

I'll use my gellux LED lamp :)

What button you use with CND lamp?

I don't use CND products so I can't help you with that question.
I have Nsi Led lamp and the Calgel UV 36watt lamp.

I find the IZ gel cures in either led or UV
So you just have to play around with whatever lamp you have got.

It's a really nice gel to work with I love it
